Windemere Park Charter Academy provides children from the Lansing, Michigan area with a challenging and effective curriculum, from grades kindergarten through eighth, including Fabulous Fives. Windemere Park's curriculum is designed to provide your child with the foundation for high academic achievement throughout high school and into college and to become quality citizens of the Lansing area.
The curriculum at Windemere Park Academy organizes student learning around Exemplars, or categories of learning, similar to the structure of most Michigan public school standards. Our balanced core program of study emphasizes basic skills such as reading, English, science, history and mathematics. The staff of Windemere Park Academy also integrates moral focused education such as responsibility, respect, courage and perseverance into our programs to help the students develop into caring and responsible citizens.
Windemere Park Academy tests all of our students with standardized exams, such as the Michigan Education Assessment Program or MEAP Test.
